Brews, Bao and Borican food all new this week.

Louie’s Gen-Gen Room, opening on the current site of Liholiho Yatch Club, has opened up in the Tendernob district. If you’re in the mood for Middle Eastern, Talwa has opened up in the Mission by first time restaurantuer Azhar Hashem. Those craving for Pho can head over to Inner Sunset to check out Sunflower Garden, a new Vietnamese Joint, although if you’re craving Mexican, Bernal Heights has the new El Buen Comer opened up, ready to dish out Mexican style stews and other entreees.
Oakland welcomes two new places, Novel Brewing and Stay Gold Deli, a brewery and east coast style deli respectively, have both opened up on San Pablo Ave. If Whiskey is more your thing, check out Temescal Brewing on Telegraph Ave in Temescal for their Whiskey. Finally, Berkley welcomes Famous Bao on Durant Ave, featuring Hot Pot, Noodles and their famous X’ian-Style Burgers
Yountville gets a new restaurant, Protea, a fast casual, Puerto Rican join. Santa Rosa, meanwhile, gets The Country Bench, founded by Michellin chef Bruce Frieseke.
