Bread is universal. All across the world, bread can be seen as a reflection of what’s available to its creators as well as the conditions it’s made in. California Sourdough made in San Francisco, for example, is beloved by the world over for its flavor, due to the endemic bacteria floating in the air it needs to acquire its distinctive flavor.
